If you still need to do a little Christmas-giving, make plans to head to Newton’s Saddlerack on Saturday, Dec. 16, for a custom hat-making event from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. with Everly After Love.

You can bring your own hat or buy a new one, choose a burn design, then customize it with antique items from the hat bar.

“Designing is first-come, first-serve,” Melanie Newton told Beneath the Surface News. “Each hat takes 15 to 30 minutes to complete and we will stop taking orders at 2 p.m. to allow time to finish the hats in queue.”

Newton’s will also be serving brunch on Saturday, so you can enjoy a mimosa and delicious meal while your custom hat is made.

It doesn’t get any better than that.

Tickets include one ribbon or lace, three decorative additions (buttons, pins, feathers) and hand-burned design on brim.

Add-ons are also available and you can even bring items from home.

Tickets are $60 and can be purchased here.
