A town hall meeting to discuss the possible impact of an industrial solar farm moving into the area is taking place at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, at City Hall at City Limits in Stephenville.

A panel of speakers including Bill Peacock from Energy Alliance will be there to answer questions from the audience and discuss the impacts of solar to the economy and land.

The meeting is being held by a local group of citizens who oppose the solar farm.

One of those people is Joanna Friebele

“The most important thing about this meeting is that people can come and ask questions and get real answers,” Friebele said.

It’s great to see discussions surrounding industrial solar farms gaining attention! Transitioning to renewable energy sources is an exciting and necessary step forward. As someone involved in industrial equipment supplier services, I can’t help but think about how crucial the right equipment is for these projects. Solar farms require advanced technology and reliable systems to function effectively, and quality equipment is at the core of their success. It’s inspiring to see how communities are starting to invest in sustainable energy, and I look forward to seeing how these efforts unfold in the future!
