Stephenville residents vote to keep all 8 city council places; extend term limits.



Stephenville residents split their vote Tuesday when deciding the future of the city council.

Proposition A, which failed (FOR 641, AGAINST 982), would have reduced the number of council members from eight to six.


In a much closer vote, Proposition B barely passed (FOR 820, AGAINST 811), which extended the Stephenville city council’s term limits from two 2-year terms to three 2-year terms.
