Stephenville gets ready to sizzle with Fourth of July celebration.
Nothing says family-fun like the city of Stephenville’s annual Fourth of July celebration.
This year’s events will take place on Tuesday, July 4, and kick off with the traditional parade at 9 a.m.
The parade will begin at the south entrance of Stephenville City Park, turn left on Graham Street, left on Washington and left on Harbin where it will come to an end.
Make plans to hang around city park where food vendors will be set up from 3-10 p.m.
Lawnmower races will take place from 3-6 p.m. with check-in at 1 and warmups at 2.
Mr. P’s Inflatables will offer fun for all ages from 6-9 p.m.
Spend the evening listening to great music at Birdsong Amphitheater with Max and Heather Stalling from 6-6:55, Lee Roy Parnell from 7:10-8:20, followed by Larry Joe Taylor from 8:35-9:45.
The concert is free and you’re invited to bring chairs, blankets and coolers.
