SISD hosting community involvement sessions to help with search for the next superintendent.

The public is invited to take part in one of two sessions with the TASB executive search committee to find Stephenville ISD’s next superintendent.

The sessions will be held at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21, at SISD's Bond Auditorium. Each session is expected to last about an hour.

Matt Underwood left the district in August after serving seven years as its superintendent.

Kelly Magin, executive director of curriculum and instruction, is currently serving as interim superintendent.

The board hopes to name a permanent superintendent in December.

The public is also being asked to fill out this survey to help with the search.
