Registration underway for Cross Timbers Classic; charity golf scramble will be held at Squaw Valley.

Cross Timbers Family Services is hosting its 2nd annual Cross Timbers Classic at Squaw Valley in Glen Rose.

The charity golf scramble will start at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, July 1.

The cost to enter is $500 for a 4-person team or $125 per person (individuals will be assigned to a team.)

The registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, cart/green fees and a complimentary Bloody Mary.

“We will have lots of goodies and extra fun at the holes as well as a raffle and silent auction,” CTFS executive director Laura Gambino told Beneath the Surface News. “As always, proceeds from our events go towards providing emergency assistance for victims of violent crime in Erath and surrounding counties.

“This could include paying for a safe hotel room for a victim of domestic violence, a gas card to transport a survivor to a domestic violence shelter, a deposit on a rental home for one of our clients, and other needs on a case-by-case basis.”
