Last year’s Amazing Meals on Wheels Race was such a success, it’s happening again.
Meals on Wheels of Erath County is hosting its own version of the popular reality TV show, The Amazing Race, and it’s time to get your team together to compete.
The race will start at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28, beginning and ending at Hearsay Wine Bar where there will also be a live watch party.
“We are excited about our second annual event and this year’s race will include more challenges that will span across Erath County,” MOWEC executive director Elizabeth Johnson told Beneath the Surface News.
The number of three-person teams is limited to 15 and the cost to enter is $100.

Proceeds, of course, benefit Meals on Wheels, which supplies 200 hot meals to local senior citizens every day.
