"Do something for someone every day.” - Ebby Halliday Acers, company founder

Katie Burr, Kari Haile and Shawn Stone, realtors with Ebby Halliday, partnered with Texas Farm Bureau Insurance agent Ricky Thurman, Cross Timbers Title and David Baskett with Preferred Rate Mortgage to provide 80 casseroles to teachers and families on the first day of school.

“Helping people find their home builds a relationship and it’s important to me to nurture and support my clients after closings,” Kari Haile told Beneath the Surface News. “We saw the opportunity to give back to this group of clients during a hectic time because we all know there is no tired like back-to-school tired!”

The casseroles were made by Casseroles-to-Go.

“One of my favorite things is being able to give back and serve my clients beyond our transaction,” Katie Burr said. “I love being able to see their smiling faces and catch up for a couple minutes. I want them to know how much I appreciate each of them and count them as one of my many blessings.”
