Kinect Fitness is hosting an obstacle course trail run for kids this Friday. Here’s how to register.

Kinect Fitness offers classes designed specifically for kids.

Kinect Fitness located between Stephenville and Dublin is hosting an event Friday aimed at keeping kids active during these dog days of summer.

Mary Anderson is a coach at Kinect Fitness and heads up all of the kids programming. She is also a math teacher at Henderson Junior High School.

Kids between the ages of five and 12 are invited to participate in Friday’s 1k, 2k or 3k. The cost to enter is $25.

The fun will begin at 7 p.m. at Kinect Fitness (the former building of CrossFit Stephenville).

The outdoor course is designed specifically for kids.

You can register by clicking here.

Kinect Fitness also offers kids classes twice a week; one at 9:30 a.m. on Monday and another at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

“We teach general body weight movement to create strength and improve fitness,” Mary told Beneath the Surface News. “These classes are basically an introduction to fitness for kids.”
