Judge Campos says there is no plan to limit private gatherings to 10 or less.

Erath County Judge Alfonso Campos said he will not limit the number of social gatherings to 10 or less, saying that he believes most citizens will use good judgment and follow the governor’s order to wear face coverings in public.
Campos said most public events have been canceled for the holiday weekend and he believes people will use “good judgment” when it comes to private gatherings.
“I think people are going to take this seriously; I think they will adhere to the governor’s orders,” Campos told BTS News on Friday. “The number of COVID cases are climbing rapidly and there were three more hospitalizations in Stephenville (Thursday).
“And that’s the critical part; we can’t overwhelm our hospitals.”
