It's time to purchase tickets for the 3rd annual Better Beginnings Brunch at Bella Vita Ranch.

Cross Timbers Family Services is hosting its third annual Better Beginnings Brunch from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, at Bella Vita Ranch.

Proceeds from the event will benefit CTFS, which assists victims of violent crime.

The brunch will include mimosas, a photo booth, silent auction and opportunity for a little shopping.

Laura Gambino, executive director of CTFS, told Beneath the Surface News that this year’s topic will include a panel of experts discussing human trafficking.

"We want our supporters to understand that we serve survivors of all types of violent crime, not just domestic violence. The state of Texas is second in the nation for human trafficking and this crime is here in Erath County,” Laura said. “We have a panel who will be discussing the topic as it relates to the area and believe the citizens of Erath County need this information along with the tools to identify and report this crime.

"Community resources are already in place to help these victims and we must work together with healthcare, law enforcement, school districts and local non-profits to keep our area safe and a place to live and raise our families.

“Cross Timbers Family Services is an essential component of that system. “

General admission to the Better Beginnings Brunch is $80. Tickets and table sponsorships are available by clicking here.
