Howdy Fest is back! Golf, cook-off and live music event to raise money for health and education.
Howdy Fest is making its second annual return with a golf tournament, cook-off, top golf and live music all happening on Saturday, Aug. 14, at Par Country Club in Comanche.
Event organizer Matthew Weeks told Beneath the Surface News that this year’s event will benefit the Stephenville Education Foundation, Dublin Booster Club and Comanche Healthcare Foundation.
The cost to enter a three-person team is $500 with lunch provided.
Check-in will begin at 10 a.m. with a 12 p.m. shotgun start

The event will also include a barbecue cook-off, Howdy-style top golf from 2-10 p.m. and live music by Shea Abshier beginning at 8 p.m.
