Five Below donating 10% of sales to Big Brothers Big Sisters Erath County Thursday. You should go.

Five Below is located in the Washington Commons in Stephenville.

One of Stephenville’s newest retailers – Five Below – is wasting no time jumping in to support local non-profit organizations.

Sarah McNeal-Weaver, executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters Erath County, learned earlier this week that BBBS will get 10% of Thursday’s sales (as in June 9).

“We are so thankful that Five Below chose us to be their first local non-profit organization to support,” Sarah told Beneath the Surface News. “We are so fortunate to have them here. Five Below is such a great, affordable store that carries unique and quality items.

“I shop there all the time and love it!”

BBBS will set up a booth at the store from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Thursday with information on how to become a mentor or register a child to become a “little.”

“We will also have a ‘Be the change you want to see in the world’ jar so people can drop in the extra change they may have in their pockets or cars,” Sarah said. “Every penny really does make a difference for our small non-profit.”
