Erath County ushers in a new year with a beautiful, white canvas.

Celebrated the new year with a great group of friends!

Erath County celebrated the start of a new year with something rare: Snow.

Lots of snow. With thunder.

The final few hours of 2020 were marked with big, white snowflakes drifting from the sky.

As The Husband and I finished a delicious dinner at Newton’s Cellar with precious friends and made our way to Hearsay Wine Bar for a small, intimate gathering, the snow intensified.

By 10:30 p.m., the streets were filled with thick, fluffy powder and we decided it was time to make our way home.

We woke to a beautiful scene on Jan. 1, 2021.

We took our time, passing several vehicles along the way that had skidded off the road and were sound asleep in our warm, comfy by the time 2021 officially arrived.

But what a surprise we had the next morning!

The land was covered in snow; transformed into a beautiful white canvas, marking a fresh start and new beginnings.

I hope you loved the snow as much as I did.

I have a good feeling about 2021.
