Erath County Habitat for Humanity is now accepting applications for 22nd home.

Habitat for Humanity partners with qualifying families to build decent, affordable housing in Erath County.


The organization is now taking applications for its 22nd home.


To qualify, applicants must submit complete applications by mail or by requesting a drop off location by calling Lori Hurford at 254-592-1079.

Qualifications for approval include an ability to repay cost of home through a no-interest loan, partner with ECHH including 300 sweat equity hours, show a need (sub-standard housing or overcrowding), meet income limits and debt to income ratios, be an Erath County citizen for at least one year.


ECHH has been building homes in Erath County since 1998.
