The night is calling…

Enjoy Stephenville’s downtown plaza in an entirely different light when Fae-Root and Fossil Oddity Market makes its atmospheric return on Saturday, July 11.

The event will be held from 6-10 p.m. and include a chance to do some unique shopping.

Kandas Newby, owner of Kitty's Kottagecore, co-hosts the event.

In a previous interview with Beneath the Surface News, she said, “I want to celebrate the interest and cultures of other oddballs like me.

“There are not many places we can shop for the things we like around here, so I thought I would bring some of that to a night market.

“Plus, this is something fun to do on the weekend.”

Some of the things you’ll find at the Oddity Market will include unique crystals, apothecary goods, garden fairies, jewelry, hand-crafted knives and cutlery, ghosts-in-a-jar and tallow and vegan soaps.

Food will also be available for sale.

The market is held on the second Saturday night of every month.

So, if you’re looking for a cool thing to do this weekend, gather your friends and head to the downtown plaza for a “Summerween” evening of oddities, magic and small-town charm.
