Dog that likes to cuddle and cat that likes the sunshine are this week’s featured pets.

Cozi

Among this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Cozi, a one to two-year-old female American Pit Bull Terrier mix.

“She is a very sweet girl that loves people,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “She came in with two other dogs, but has shown dog aggression since being here.

Cozi is described as “high energy” and would probably do best in a home with older children.

“She loves riding in cars and playing and is obsessed with water hoses,” Serena said. “Cozi is an absolute cuddle bug and loves to spend time cuddled up in bed or on a couch.”

Cozi is spayed, microchipped, heart worm negative and on prevention. Jupiter is a seven to eight-year-old male domestic shorthair.

“He is a super sweet guy that loves attention, but he doesn't like his back feet or belly touched,” Serena said.

Jupiter

Jupiter would likely do best in a home with no children.

He enjoys lounging in the sun, but likes to be inside most of the time.

Jupiter is neutered and microchipped.
