Déjà vu: Big Brothers Big Sisters brings back star-studded lineup for this year’s Dancing For the Stars event.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erath County kicked off another pre-event celebration Monday to its biggest fundraiser of the year: Dancing For the Stars.

Five well-known couples in Erath County will compete in this year’s event on Thursday, Oct. 30, at the TSU ballroom.

This year’s couples include Jim Ed and Kari Haile, Jeremy and Hillary McBroom, Donny and Brigit Hill, Randy and Renee Thompson and Lance and Shelley Gilliland.

“We are bringing back our all-star favorites,” executive director Sarah McNeal-Weaver told Beneath the Surface News.

“Every one of these couples has competed before. It’s going to be a very special year.”

The couples signed contracts on Monday afternoon signaling the start of table sales.

Individual tickets will not be sold, but there will be four levels of sponsorship tables with eight seats available: Stage sponsor for $7,500, Platinum for $3,500, Gold for $2,500 and Bronze for $1,500.
