Community to celebrate the 2021 state champion Yellow Jackets at Erath County Courthouse Square.
The high from Friday’s state championship football game that ended with the Stephenville Yellow Jackets coming home with a sixth title will continue with a community celebration.
Plan to be at the Erath County Courthouse at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18.
The Yellow Jackets beat LBJ Austin 38-21 Friday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
It’s the sixth state title for the football program with others in 1993, 1994, 1998, 1999 and 2012.
Coy Eakin was named Offensive Player of the Game and Reese Young was named Defensive Player of the Game.
