Chef Mike Newton’s new downtown restaurant in Stephenville is now open for lunch - and you will fall in love with the daytime menu.


We took our family to lunch at Newton’s Cellar last week to celebrate our son’s birthday.


I had a cup of the asparagus parsnip soup (spicy and delicious) and the ahi tower (my favorite!) and we all loved it.


Since then, Newton has expanded his lunch menu to include crawfish bites, chicken and waffles, salads, soup, sandwiches and lunch portions of salmon and filet.


Newton’s Cellar is open for lunch from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and for dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
