Battle of the Badges: Stephenville police, firefighters battle for blood. Literally.
By SARA VANDEN BERGE
The Stephenville Police Department and Stephenville Fire Department have launched a friendly competition of sorts; one aimed at helping Carter BloodCare replenish its much-needed blood supply.
“Blood donations are in significant demand because of the current pandemic,” said Stephenville Police Chief Dan Harris. “The Battle of the Badges blood drive will challenge each department to see who can get the most donations in a single day.”
The public, of course, is invited to get involved with the event, which will take place from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday, May 22, at the Cowboy Plaza across from City Hall.
The Stephenville Officers Association will be on site to cook food for those donating blood.

HOW TO PREPARE
