Annual baked potato lunch raises money to purchase school supplies for local children. Here’s how to order.
For the past 36 years, the United Methodist Women have hosted a baked potato luncheon to raise money to purchase school supplies for area children.
This year’s lunch will benefit four non-profit organizations in Erath County: the Stephenville School Supplies Project, the Treehouse Afterschool Program, Love Thy Neighbor and St. Luke’s Food Pantry.
The lunch will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, (that’s Election Day!) in the fellowship hall at Stephenville’s First United Methodist Church.
You can order a jumbo baked potato with all the fixings (cheese, chili, butter and sour cream) and dessert to be delivered or picked up by clicking here.
The cost is $12.
