‘A happy, goofy puppy that loves everyone.’ Zytas needs to find his forever home.
One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Zytas, an 11-month-old male Heeler/Pit mix.
“This sweet boy has spent seven of his 11 months here at the shelter,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “He is a lovable dog that just needs some structure and patience. He is a happy, goofy puppy that loves everyone.
“He gets along well with other dogs and loves to play.”
Zytas once lived in a home with a rabbit and did well, so he will likely do well with other livestock and small animals.
He loves water and will play in any bucket, bowl or pool he can find. Oh, and he walks well on a leash too.
Zytas is not yet potty trained, but he is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
He has been at the shelter since April. Mother Teresa is a one to two-year-old female domestic shorthair.
“She is a solitary cat that will come to you for attention when she wants it, but is content to do her own thing most of the time,” Serena said. “If you are looking for a companion that is not super needy, she is the girl for you.”
Mother T will do best in a calm, stable environment. She loves being brushed, napping, playing and exploring.
She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litterbox trained.
Mother T has been at the shelter since August.
