Oreo and Hashbrown are this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society.

Oreo is a 10-year-old Newfoundland mix.

“He is an older gentleman that walks well on a leash and is very people-friendly,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “He does well with female dogs, but not with other males.”

Oreo is microchipped and kennel-trained. He possibly has arthritis in his hips and is receiving supplements to help.

Hashbrown

Hashbrown is a two-year-old female.

“She is a very sweet kitty that loves to talk and get attention,” Serena said. “Hashbrown tends to talk the most when she doesn't think anyone is listening.”

Hashbrown is cat-friendly, but not sure about dogs.

She is also litter box-trained and microchipped.
