A Stephenville resident has become the 16th person in Erath County to test positive for COVID-19.
As of Thursday, there are now three active cases in the county.
“Even though we are beginning to reopen our economy, it is critical that people maintain the vigilance we had during the shelter in home phase,” City Manager Allen Barnes said.
City officials are urging people to continue observing CDC guidelines by keeping six feet apart, washing hands frequently for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your face, nose or mouth, staying at home when sick, covering your cough and sneezing into a tissue.
